WCAG contrast checker.
Text that's too pale, and part of your visitors can't read you anymore. Pick two colors, we compute the ratio and the WCAG level live.
What's it for?
Contrast is the difference in brightness between your text and its background. Too low, and the text becomes hard to read (in sunlight, on an old screen, for someone with low vision). The WCAG standards set thresholds to meet.
- A site readable by everyone, including people with low vision.
- A required step for accessibility compliance (RGAA / WCAG).
- Reading comfort that reduces people leaving your site.
Your colors
The ratio ranges from 1:1 (unreadable) to 21:1 (black on white).
